It was a long cherished ambition of the F.C.C. sisters of Vimala Province to have a spiritual renewal centre. Rev. Sr.Gracy, the sister provincial initiated to buy a plot of 4 acres of land for this purpose near the O'Carm Fathers' Ashram. In 1991 the foundation stone was laid by Rev. Sr.Lisieux Mary, Sister Provincial. The beautiful and spacious building was completed in 1994 and was blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. George Punnakkottil on 17th September. In 1994 the Provincial Superior Rev. Sr. Gloria inaugurated the renewal Centre. The construction work was supervised by Rev. Sr. Dianitia. Now it is used as a renewal Centre for the whole F.C. Congregation. The 1st superior was Mother Symbrose. We owe much to the O'Carm Fathers for their selfless services.
