Nirmala Junior Public School was established in the year 2000. Consequently, in the year 2002, the second floor of the school building was used as the house for the sisters who were working in the school. On March 14, 2004 this Residential House was raised to the status of a convent.  Rev. Sr. Gracia was the first superior and Rev. Sr.Jessy Tresa is the Headmistress. Hostel accommodation is given to the students.
