For the service of the undeveloped people of Kenkeri in Karnataka state, a mission centre was started. Rev. Sr. Rositta, the Sister Provincial took initiative. Rev. Fr. Kurian Aranjaniyil MSFS helped us to purchase this land. The sisters Sebastina and Alpha stayed in the nearby Benedictine Ashram and completed the construction of a convent. It was blessed on March 15, 1997 by Msgr. Thomas Japamala, the Vicar General of the Arch diocese of Bangalore. It was dedicated to the Paternal care of St. Joseph and was named Sanjo Sadan. Rev. Sr. Raichal was the 1st Superior of this house. An integrated primary school with the Mentally Handicapped children was started. For convenience, the school building was extended later. We are grateful to the MSFS Fathers for their remarkable service in spiritual as well as material fields.
