Under the patronage of our Mother St. Clare, a convent is established on June 21, 1997 at Khed in Veral village in Maharashtra. Rev. Sr. Rositta, the Provincial Superior took initiative to start this convent. Rev. Fr. Paul Theruvanmoola rendered his selfless service in all the missionary activities. A nursery school and a dispensary were started in 1998. On 4th August 2000, a special school for the mentally challenged children was begun. Rev. Fr. Peter Kavumpuram gave all support and encouragement for this venture. Rev.Sr. Rosebel is the Principal of this school. Rev. Sr. Johnet was the first superior.
