As FCC is a missionary Congregation, we started a new mission home at Lancha in the state of Maharashtra. Sr. Rositta, the Provincial Superior took initiative to open this station. MST fathers requested us to work in this undeveloped area. Therefore three sisters started our Missionary work there on 1996. They stayed in a small rented building. Next year we built a new building for the convent. Sr. Irene was the first superior and gave medical help to the people. We started a dispensary near the convent. The sisters do village work also.
