To rehabilitate the mentally challenged children who completed courses in Nirmala Sadan, a Centre was established in Nirmalagiri near the Malankara Catholic Church. We remember with gratitude Rev. Fr. Zacharias Ayrattupadavil, the vicar of the church who helped us to buy the plot. On November 25th 1994 the Rehabilitation Centre was blessed. Book binding, Spinning, Candle Making and envelop making are the trades children are given training in. A computerized printing press is also established for the training and rehabilitation of the children. Sr.Anto, the principal of Nirmala Sadan did the initial planning for the centre. It was highly necessary to erect a house for the sisters working at the rehabilitation centre On 27th October 1996 the house with a hostel was blessed by our Bishop Mar George Punnakkottil. The Construction was supervised by Rev. Sr.Jovice. The 1st Superior was Rev. Sr. Glory. Rev. Sr. Rositta, the provincial superior and the Council took initiative for the Venture.
